Meet Nicole Brook

Nicole Brook, known as Nickie by her friends and family, grew up on a ranch near Warburg, Alberta. Coming from a tight-knit rural community, she developed big dreams early on. By third grade, she had already written her first novel and knew she wanted to be an author. Like her spirited main character Abigail, Nicole was once a blonde, blue-eyed girl with a boundless imagination.

Some of Nicole’s happiest childhood moments unfolded at her great-grandmother’s house, where she, her brother Curtis, and her cousins Jamie and Ashley spent endless hours exploring the farm and inventing adventures. These cherished memories became the heart and inspiration behind The Amazing Adventures of Abigail Andrews series.

Nicole was previously published in Canada, and her work was recently acquired by Ringtale Publishing—an exciting new chapter that allows her stories to reach even wider audiences. She is thrilled for the adventures ahead as her series continues to grow.

Now living in Leduc, Alberta, Nicole and her husband Brandon are proud parents to their daughter Piper (2013) and son Axel (2016).

In addition to writing, Nicole works as an Organizational Development Specialist, a role that empowers her to make a positive impact on both children and adults. Whether she’s crafting stories, supporting others’ growth, or creating new memories with her family, Nicole continues to embrace life’s adventures with creativity and heart.
